什么是上界?

向上的束缚 provides fundamental support to participants in their preparation for college entrance.  The program provides opportunities for participants to succeed in their precollege performance and ultimately in their higher education pursuits.  向上的束缚 serves high school students from (1) low-income families and (2) families in which neither parent holds a bachelor's degree.  The goal of 向上的束缚 is to increase the rate at which participants complete secondary education and enroll in and graduate from institutions of postsecondary education.

A QUALIFYING PARTICIPANT IN NINTH OR TENTH GRADE MUST:

• Be a potential first generation college student AND/OR
• Have a family taxable income not exceeding 150% of the poverty level AND
• Be a resident of Toledo, Ohio OR
• Attend a school within the city limits of Toledo, Ohio AND
• Be recommended by a school counselor or teacher AND
• 至少有2分.0 GPA at the time of application
• The services and activities provided by the BGSU 向上的束缚 program are FREE.  Funding is through the U.S. Department of 教育.
• Parents and students who wish to apply for admission to the BGSU 向上的束缚 program may do so by contacting their school counselor or the department office.
• The information provided on the program application is protected by the Privacy Act and will be used solely to determine program eligibility based on federal guidelines.
