The 传播科学与障碍系 in the 学院 卫生与公共服务部 offers the Ph.D. 语言病理学专业学位. The doctoral program in 沟通 障碍 is designed to develop the scientific and cognitive skills needed to identify and independently study important questions concerning human communication. 为了实现这些目标, students engage actively in research and teaching. The doctoral program emphasizes a 以学生为中心的方法 to doctoral education. 学生 participate in research throughout their program and are closely supervised in their research and teaching experiences. The curriculum is individually designed to meet students’ educational needs and professional goals.

 The program is designed to develop basic and analytical knowledge in:

(c) related disciplines providing insight into human communication as well as to develop:

(d) research and technical skills in instrumentation and research methodologies
