Curriculum

This program provides a baccalaureate education for students with a technical healthcare background to enhance their potential for learning by providing the tools needed for problem-solving, computing, communication and understanding the healthcare system. 

Prerequisites cover basic medical subjects, chemistry, biology, algebra, basic psychology and others.

The bachelor’s in allied health curriculum requires a minimum of 122 credit hours. You may apply a total of 92 credit hours from your associate degree and other appropriate courses toward your degree.  

The BGSU Online component of the allied health bachelor’s program requires students to complete 10 three-credit-hour courses (30 credit hours) of designated BGSU courses referred to as “Pathway to Completion.”
